UN Global Network Germany, WWF Germany and the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles will be hosting a coaching on water risks and water stewardship on Monday, 21 January 2019 at 10am in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
The coaching supports companies with the implementation of a holistic water management system. The aim is to prepare companies for the current and future challenges of water management, make an appropriate contribution to reducing water risks and, as a pioneer, promote the responsible use of water resources.
The coaching introduces materiality and water risk analyses and shows how transparency can also be created along the value chain. In addition, approaches are presented that make it easier for companies to assess their potential impacts and risks in catchment areas and to manage them in dialogue with relevant stakeholders. A particular focus is on the Water Stewardship approach. In a small group, relevant tools and approaches will be imparted and deepened using examples and case studies. The exchange with other companies and the discussion of individual challenges will be of great importance.
The coaching covers the following questions:
Which water risks can exist along the value chain?
What does water stewardship mean and how can the concept be applied to my company?
Why is holistic water management essential for my company?
What measures can my company take to concretely reduce water risks?
What good practices already exist?
450 € for signatories of the UN Global Compact (normal price: 600 €). Course materials and meals will be provided during the coaching. Please note that the course is only available in German.
The registration deadline is 4 January 2019.
